Welcome to the summer issue of our newsletter. We have had a hectic few months and have enjoyed welcoming many new and existing customers to the shop.
Congratulations to Mr Carbin who was the
lucky winner in the Christmas hamper prize
draw. Mr and Mrs Ley won a fantastic
weekend in Paris in our Christmas word
search competition.
As I write this I am training hard for The
British Heart Foundation charity bike ride
from London to Brighton. You may
remember I was part of the team that
completed the ride last year. This year
we hope to beat our time and exceed
last years total of £1500. I will need your
support, so please give generously to
this very worthwhile cause.
You may have noticed in recent months
how busy the shop has become. We even
wondered ourselves why we have seen such an upturn in business, especially at a time
when we are facing even more competition
than ever. In chatting to our customers we noticed a pattern emerging, many are fed up
with the high ressurised sales techniques
of the giant stores, like Dixon’s and Curry’s,
you appreciate the time and customer service
which we offer.
Our staff are all extremely
knowledgeable, they certainly know their
Nicam from their Dolby Digital! Our staff
are also happy to share that knowledge and
explain product features in language we can
all understand.
